Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"ANTENA DE MICROONDAS DE REFLETOR DUPLO"<D>. Uma antena de microondas de refletor duplo compreende a combinação de um refletor principal parabolóide tendo um eixo geométrico; uma guia de onda e um difusor de alimentação de modo duplo estendendo-se ao longo do eixo geométrico do refletor principal, um sub-refletor para refletir a irradiação do difusor de alimentação sobre o refletor principal no modo de transmissão, e uma blindagem estendendo-se da borda externa do refletor principal e geralmente paralela ao eixo geométrico do refletor principal, a superfície interna da blindagem sendo revestida com um material absorvente para absorver irradiação indesejada. O sub-refletor é formado para produzir uma distribuição de força de abertura que esteja substancialmente confinada na região do refletor principal fora da sombra do sub-refletor. O suporte para o sub-refletor é preferivelmente um cone dielétrico oco tendo uma espessura ressonante para fazer com que a energia que passa através do dito cone esteja em fase com a energia refletida do dito cone de modo a alcançar um cancelamento de fase.
