Abstract
Patente de Invenção para "DISPOSITIVO DE MULTIPLEXAçãO COM BLOCO óPTICO DE PRECISãO". Um dispositivo de multiplexação óptico de multiplexa luz colimada de uma fonte de fibra óptica em sub-faixas de comprimento de onda individuais separadas, ou canais, e/ou multiplexa canais separados em uma guia de onda de fibra óptica comum, ou outro destino. Um bloco óptico define uma folga óptica entre duas superfícies paralelas, tendo um orifício óptico em uma primeira tal superfície paralela, para passagem da luz colimada de canal múltiplo na folga óptica. Um orifício de canal e pelo menos outro elemento reflectivo, por exemplo., orifícios de canal múltiplo em série em relação espaçada uns com os outros, são seguros ao bloco óptico nas superfícies paralelas, proporcionando uma trajetória de luz de ponto múltiplo livre de epóxi, não-obstruida, no interior da folga óptica. Em cada orifício de canal, um filtro de interferência, seguro ao bloco óptico, se estende sobre a folga óptica. Cada filtro transmite uma sub-faixa de comprimento de onda da luz colimada de canal múltiplo passada pelo orifício óptico, e reflete outros comprimentos de onda. Desse modo, uma sub-faixa de comprimento de onda da luz de canal múltiplo, passada através da folga óptica em um primeiro orifício de canal, que é a faixa daquele primeiro orifício de canal, é transmitida através do primeiro orifício de canal. A luz não transmitida através daquele primeiro orifício de canal é refletida de volta através da folga óptica, por exemplo., para atingir um segundo orifício de canal, no qual uma segunda sub-faixa de comprimento de onda diferente é transmitida. O sinal óptico refletido, desse modo, cai em forma de cascata em uma seq³ência de "salto múltiplo" através da folga óptica do dispositivo de multiplexação, adicionando e/ou removendo sequencialmente canais.
