Abstract
"RECEPTOR DIGITAL PARA SINAIS DE MULTIPORTADORA, E, PROCESSO PARA ESTIMAR UMA RESPOSTA DE FREQêNCIA DE UM CANAL". A invenção provê uma implementação de "chip" único de um receptor digital para sinais de multiportadora que são transmitidos por multiplexação por divisão de freq³ência ortogonal. Circuitos de estimativa de canal e correção melhorados são providos. O receptor possui circuito de controle de freq³ência e controle de taxa de amostragem altamente preciso. A decodificação BCH das portadoras de dados tps é obtida com recursos mínimos, com um arranjo que inlclui um pequeno multiplicador de campo Galois. Um circuito de sincronização de janela FFT melhorado é acoplado ao circuito de reamostragem para localizar a fronteira do intervalo de guarda transmitido com a estrutura ativa do sinal. Um processador FFT direcionado, de tempo real, é associado operacionalmente ao circuito de sincronização de janela FFT e opera com exigências de memórias reduzidas."DIGITAL RECEIVER FOR MULTIPORTER SIGNALS, AND, PROCESS FOR ESTIMATING A FREQUENCY RESPONSE OF A CHANNEL". The invention provides a single-chip implementation of a digital receiver for multicarrier signals that are transmitted by orthogonal frequency division multiplexing. Improved channel estimation and correction circuits are provided. The receiver features highly accurate frequency control circuitry and sample rate control. BCH decoding of tps data carriers is achieved with minimal resources, with an arrangement that includes a small Galois field multiplier. An improved FFT window synchronization circuit is coupled to the resampling circuit to locate the transmitted guard interval boundary with the active frame of the signal. A real-time, directed FFT processor is operationally associated with the FFT window synchronization circuit and operates with reduced memory requirements.
