"APARELHO E PROCESSO PARA REGULAR A FREQœENCIA DE UM SINAL OSCILANTE DE SAìDA, CIRCUITO EM ANEL DE RETENçãO DE FASE, E, PROCESSO DE CALIBRAçãO PARA CALIBRAR UM DISPOSITIVO RESPONSIVO A VALORES DE UM SINAL DE REFERêNCIA". Aparelho (82) e um processo associado (202) para calibrar um dispositivo (44) responsivo a valores de um sinal de referência (89). O sinal de referência pode ser sujeito a perturbações a curto prazo. Em uma implementação, uma estação base de rádio utiliza um oscilar Stratum-2 (84) com o qual sincronizar a fase de um VCO (44) de uma estação base. Compensação é realizada para o envelhecimento do oscilador Stratum-2, para desse modo proporcionar um sinal de regulação levando o VCO a exibir características de estabilidade de freq³ência a curto-prazo e a longo-prazo aceitáveis.
