Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA A RECUPERAçãO DE ENXOFRE A PARTIR DE GASES CONTENDO SO~ 2~"<D>. A invenção refere-se a um processo para a recuperação de enxofre de uma corrente de gás contendo SO~ 2~ através da conversão catalítica do mesmo a enxofre elementar, compreendendo converter SO~ 2~ e H~ 2~S na presença de enxofre líquido e um sistema catalítico baseado num catalisador heterogêneo que catalisa a reação de Claus, enquanto que como promotor da reação de Claus encontra-se presente um composto nitrogenado básico no enxofre líquido.
