Com um aparelho médico (1) para fixar e imobilizar partes móveis do corpo, em particular extremidades de um ser humano ou um animal, ao longo de um eixo de aparelho (6), onde o referido aparelho (1) compreende um metal em folha (2) que pode ser moldado plasticamente manualmente e é coberto nos dois lados com uma camada de cobertura 93, 4), uma elevada capacidade de moldagem e rigidez ao mesmo tempo são obtidos pelo fato de que o metal em folha (2) é projetado com corrugações pelo menos em algumas áreas, onde os picos e vales das corrugações 942) se estendem essencialmente através do eixo de aparelho (6).
