Abstract
Patene de Invenção: "SEQuêNCIA DE ADN QUE CODIFICA UM POLIPEPTìDEO QUE INTENSIFICA INFECçãO DE VìRUS DE INSETOS HOSPEDEIROS". Essa invenção se refere a um ADN isolado e clonado a partir de um vírus de granulovírus que compreende uma sequência de aminoácidos do gen viral que codifica um polipeptídeo isolado a partir de corpos de oclusão de certos baculovírus e polipeptídeo esse que possui a atividade biológica de intensificar a infectividade de baculovírus. Tais proteínas, aqui denominadas "intensifinas", são encontradas dentro do corpo de oclusão viral, têm um efeito de rompimento nas proteínas da membrana peritrófica de insetos (MP) e/ou interagem com o epitélio do intestino médio de uma maneira tal que permita a adsorção, penetração e entrada aumentadas de partículas de vírus pelas células do intestino médio com um aumento concomitante em mortalidade do hospedeiro. é aqui revelada uma sequência de ADN recombinante que codifica a proteína de intensifina do vírus de granulovírus de Helicoverpa armigera. A sequência de ADN é mostrada em SEQ. ID. NO.: 1 e a estrutura de leitura aberta é mostrada nos pares de bases 271-2976 de SEQ. ID. NO.: 1. A sequência de aminoácidos da proteína de intensifina é mostrada na SEQ. ID. NO.: 2.
