Abstract

Patente de Invenção "SISTEMA DE CóPIA DE RESERVA PARA UMA BASE DE DADOS EM TEMPO REAL EM UMA MEMóRIA PRIMáRIA EM OPERAçãO". Para o estabelecimento de cópia de reserva em uma base de dados em tempo real distribuída na memória primária em operação, todos os dados na base de dados são estruturados como pertencentes a uma de várias bases de dados lógicas, uma base de dados lógica sendo suscetível de, porém não necessitando, se estender através de vários processadores. Uma função cópia de reserva de um determinada base de dados lógica é ativada emitindo uma mensagem para um manipulador de cópia de reserva central, que tem informações relativas aos processadores através dos quais o sistema de cópia de reserva atual se estende, e sincroniza a função de cópia de reserva através dos limites de processador. A sincronização inclui que os manipuladores de base de dados local sejam informados que a cópia de reserva será iniciado e que um novo registro de transações está sendo criado, no qual todas as transações que não atingiram o estado de recuperação e que por conseguinte não devem ser incluídas na cópia de reserva são registradas. A cópia de reserva subsequentemente somente contém mudanças de transações no registro de transações antigo.
