processo de preparação de um catalisador compreendendo uma fase ativa distribuída em uma crosta via impregnação de hexanol. a presente invenção refere-se a processo de preparação de um catalisador compreendendo uma fase ativa de níquel e um suporte de alumina, o dito catalisador compreende entre 1 e 50% em peso de níquel elementar em relação ao peso total do catalisador, o níquel estando distribuído simultaneamente sobre uma crosta na periferia do suporte, e no núcleo do suporte, o qual (processo) compreende as seguintes etapas: a) impregna-se o dito suporte com um volume v1 de uma solução de hexanol compreendido entre 0,2 e 0,8 vez o volume poroso total vpt do dito suporte para obter um suporte impregnado; b) impregna-se o suporte obtido no fim da etapa a) com uma solução compreendendo um precursor da fase ativa de níquel para obter um precursor de catalisador; c) seca-se o precursor de catalisador obtido no fim da etapa b) a uma temperatura inferior a 250º c.
