produção de semialdeído de malonato e derivados por microrganismos que expressam aspartato 1-decarboxilas. a presente invenção fornece microrganismos recombinantes e métodos para a produção de semialdeído de malonato e/ou produtos relacionados, tais como cetonas, álcoois, ácidos orgânicos, ésteres, alcenos, aminoácidos e combinações dos mesmos, incluindo ácido 3-hidroxipropiônico, ácido acrílico, ácido propiônico, 1-propanol, acetona, 2-propanol, butanona, 1-butanol, 2-butanol, propionato de metila, 1,3-propanodiol, álcool isoamílico, 1,3-butanodiol, 1,4-butanodiol, 2,3-butanodiol, ácido lático, ácido adípico, ácido glutâmico, ácido itacônico, acetato de etila, acetato de isopropila, ácido acético ácido butírico, ácido caproico, ácido cítrico, ácido metacrílico, ácido succínico, propileno, butadieno, etanol, isoprenol, leucina, isoleucina, glutamina, glicina e isopreno, a partir de ß-alanina. o microrganismo recombinante exprime uma asparato 1-decarboxilase que catalisa a produção de semialdeído de malonato a partir de ß-alanina.
