métodos para avaliar lesão cerebral em um indivíduo pediátrico. são revelados no presente documento métodos e kits para uso nesses métodos, que auxiliam no diagnóstico e avaliação de um indivíduo pediátrico para lesão cerebral traumática (tbi), utilizando ubiquitina hidrolase carboxi-terminal l1 (uch-l1), proteína glial fibrilar ácida ( gfap) ou uma combinação dos mesmos. também são revelados no presente documento métodos e kits para uso nos ditos métodos, que auxiliam na determinação se um indivíduo pediátrico se beneficiaria e, portanto, receberia um procedimento de imageamento, como ressonância magnética ou tomografia computadorizada (ct) da cabeça com base nos níveis de gfap, uch-l1 ou gfap e uch-l1.
