Abstract

PLANTAS DE MELANCIA RESISTENTES A DOENÇAS. A presente invenção refere-se a plantas de melancia apresentando resistência aumentada a infecção pela raça de Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. niveum 2. A presente invenção refere-se também a sementes e partes das referidas plantas, por exemplo, frutos. A presente invenção refere-se ainda a métodos de produção e uso de tais sementes e plantas. A presente invenção refere-se também a novas sequências genéticas associadas à referida resistência aumentada e com marcadores moleculares associados às referidas novas sequências genéticas.
