PLANTAS DE MELÃO RESISTENTES A DOENÇAS. A presente invenção refere-se a plantas de melão apresentando uma resistência aumentada à infecção pela raça Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. melonis 1,2. A presente invenção refere-se igualmente a sementes e partes das referidas plantas, por exemplo, frutos. A presente invenção refere-se ainda com métodos de produção e uso dessas sementes e plantas. A presente invenção refere-se igualmente a sequências genéticas associadas à referida resistência aumentada e com marcadores moleculares associados às referidas sequências genéticas.
