Abstract
ELETRODO QUE GERA OXIGÊNIO. A presente invenção fornece um eletrodo de geração de oxigênio dotado de uma camada catalisadora que tem uma alta condutividade elétrica específica, e tem excelente durabilidade de modo que, mesmo quando um eletrólito ácido é eletrolisado, os componentes catalisadores sejam improváveis de serem consumidos e a eletrólise a longo prazo possa ser realizada. O eletrodo de geração de oxigênio é um eletrodo de geração de oxigênio 10 dotado de um substrato 2 formado com titânio ou uma liga de titânio, e uma camada catalisadora 4 disposta no substrato 2 e formada com um óxido metálico misturado, em que a camada catalisadora 4 satisfaz pelo menos qualquer uma dentre a condição (1) e a condição (2) a seguir. Condição (1): contendo rutênio, estanho e elemento metálico trivalente ou polivalente superior que exclui um elemento metálico tetravalente. Condição (2): contendo rutênio e estanho, e que tem um teor de rutênio de 40% em mol ou mais com base no teor total do rutênio e estanho.
