Abstract

SUTURAS FARPADAS TRANÇADAS QUE TÊM INSERTOS DE MONOFILAMENTOS FARPADOS COM PERFIS CÔNCAVOS DE NÚCLEO. A presente invenção refere-se a uma sutura farpada trançada que inclui um inserto de monofilamento farpado que inclui um núcleo alongado que tem uma espessura e uma pluralidade de farpas que se projetam para fora a partir de lados opostos do núcleo alongado. A sutura farpada trançada inclui uma bainha trançada circundando o núcleo alongado a fim de formar um núcleo compósito da sutura farpada trançada. O núcleo compósito tem uma espessura e o núcleo alongado está situado em um centro do núcleo compósito. A espessura de núcleo alongado é de cerca de 6 a 8 mil (mil - 0,001 pol.; 0,0254 mm) e a espessura de núcleo compósito é de cerca de 13 a 18 mil. Uma razão entre a espessura de núcleo alongado em relação à espessura de núcleo compósito situa-se entre cerca de 0,16 a 0,91. O núcleo alongado tem zonas de transição que formam um perfil côncavo.
