Abstract

CATALISADORES E PROCESSOS MELHORADOS PARA A PRODUÇÃO DIRETA DE COMBUSTÍVEIS LÍQUIDOS A PARTIR DE DIÓXIDO DE CARBONO E HIDROGÊNIO. A presente invenção se refere a dois catalisadores melhorados e a processos associados que convertem diretamente dióxido de carbono e hidrogênio para combustíveis líquidos. O conversor catalítico é composto por dois catalisadores em série que são operados nas mesmas pressões para produzir diretamente combustíveis líquidos sintéticos ou gás natural sintético. A eficiência de conversão de carbono para CO2 para combustíveis líquidos é maior do que 45%. O combustível é destilado em um combustível em diesel premium (aproximadamente 70% em volume) e nafta (aproximadamente 30% em volume) que são usados diretamente como combustíveis "de fácil reabastecimento" sem exigir nenhum processamento adicional. Quaisquer hidrocarbonetos leves que estejam presentes com o dióxido de carbono também são convertidos diretamente para combustíveis. Este processo é diretamente aplicável na conversão de CO2 coletado a partir de plantas de etanol, plantas de cimento, usinas de energia, biogás, misturas de dióxido de carbono/hidrocarboneto provenientes da recuperação de óleo secundário, e outras correntes de dióxido de carbono/hidrocarboneto. O sistema catalisador é durável, eficiente e mantém um nível relativamente constante de produtividade de combustível durante longos períodos de tempo sem exigir reativação ou substituição.
