BIOMATERIAIS DE GLICOSAMINOGLICANO SULFATADO COMO MIMÉTICOS DE PROTEOGLICANOS. São fornecidos conjugados de polímero que são capazes de imitar as funções de proteoglicanos naturais encontrados na matriz extracelular dos tecidos conjuntivos. Os conjugados de polímeros da invenção têm utilidade no tratamento de um indivíduo que sofre de condições degenerativas de tecidos moles. Também são fornecidos processos químicos simples e escaláveis para a preparação dos conjugados de polímeros da invenção.
