Abstract

USO DE ESPECTROSCOPIA DE IV PARA AVALIAR PENETRAÇÃO DE REAGENTES EM ESPÉCIME BIOLÓGICO. A presente invenção refere-se a aparelhos para medir material de amostra (como amostras de tecidos) e metodologias e instrumentos associados envolvem um sistema ou dispositivo de espectroscopia configurado com um dispositivo de medição de amostra (por exemplo, um dispositivo de medição de amostra de reflexão total atenuada (ATR-IV)) incluindo um cristal que define uma superfície/interface receptora de amostra conectada operativamente a uma fonte de IV e a um detector de IV. A superfície/interface receptora da amostra facilita a avaliação da presença (e opcionalmente da quantidade) de um fixador (por exemplo, formaldeído) no material de amostra, amostras de tecido, por exemplo. As medições são feitas em um ou mais locais dentro de uma estrutura/área de posicionamento da amostra, que pode ser fornecida na forma de uma sonda ou uma estrutura perfurante elevada contendo um ou mais dispositivos de medição de amostras ATR-IV (ou outros). A sonda pode incluir uma estrutura ou mecanismo perfurante em uma extremidade distal (aberta) da sonda configurada para criar uma passagem para um local selecionado (profundidade) dentro do material de amostra de forma minimamente invasiva, de modo que a amostra não seja severamente danificada durante os testes.
