Abstract

COMPOSIÇÕES E MÉTODOS PARA AUMENTAR OU MELHORAR A TRANSDUÇÃO DE VETORES DE TERAPIA GENÉTICA E PARA REMOVER OU REDUZIR IMUNOGLOBULINAS. São revelados no presente documento métodos para tratar pacientes que podem desenvolver ou já têm anticorpos neutralizantes de terapia gênica pré-existentes pela administração de um agente que bloqueia, inibe ou reduz a interação entre a imunoglobulina G (IgG) e o receptor Fc neonatal (FcRn), como um anticorpo anti-FcRn, para reduzir a reciclagem de IgG e aumentar a depuração de IgG in vivo. Também são revelados métodos para o uso de agentes que reduzem a interação de IgG com FcRn para tratamento de terapia gênica de uma doença em um paciente em necessidade do mesmo.
