Abstract
ARTIGO CATALISADOR, E, SISTEMA DE TRATAMENTO DE EMISSÕES. A presente invenção se refere a um artigo catalisador para o tratamento de gás de escape proveniente de um motor a gasolina que compreende: um substrato compreendendo uma extremidade de entrada, uma extremidade de saída com um comprimento axial L; uma primeira região catalítica que começa na extremidade de entrada e que se estende por menos do que o comprimento axial L, sendo que a primeira região catalítica compreende um primeiro componente de MGP e um primeiro óxido inorgânico; uma segunda região catalítica que começa na extremidade de saída, sendo que a segunda região catalítica compreende um segundo componente de MGP, um segundo material com capacidade de armazenamento de oxigênio (OSC) e um segundo óxido inorgânico; sendo que a primeira região catalítica é substancialmente isenta de céria; e em que o primeiro componente de MGP é o paládio (Pd), a platina (Pt) ou uma combinação dos mesmos.
