a presente invenção refere-se a moduladores duplos do receptor de farnesoide x (fxr) e de epóxido hidrolase solúvel (seh). os moduladores da invenção foram concebidos para prover compostos que carregam uma atividade dupla como agonistas de fxr e inibidores (antagonistas) de seh. a invenção também provê métodos para tratar indivíduos que sofrem de doenças associadas a fxr e seh, tais como distúrbios metabólicos, em particular fígado gorduroso não alcoólico ou esteato-hepatite não alcoólica (nash).
