a presente invenção refere-se a um processo de determinação da presença de uma borda de arame no local de uma borda interna de uma superfície de anel (16) de um anel de um recipiente, compreendendo: - iluminação da superfície de anel (16) do recipiente a partir de cima, por meio de um feixe de luz radial a 360° e a sua observação de acordo com um campo de observação periférico; - formação em uma primeira zona de imagem, de um primeiro círculo principal; e de ao menos um arco secundário de um círculo concêntrico ao primeiro círculo principal e radialmente deslocado em relação ao último; - busca, na dita primeira zona de imagem, do primeiro círculo principal e qualquer primeiro arco secundário de um círculo. a invenção também se refere a um dispositivo para executar tal processo e uma linha compreendendo tal dispositivo.
