Abstract
a presente invenção se refere a dispositivos de acesso cirúrgico que têm recursos de fechamento de ferimentos incorporados como parte do dispositivo. os dispositivos possibilitam que uma sutura seja inserida diretamente no dispositivo e operada para fechar uma abertura através da qual o dispositivo é disposto no momento em que ou logo após o dispositivo ser removido do sítio cirúrgico. adicionalmente, os recursos de fechamento de ferimentos possibilitam que várias orientações de fechamento de ferimentos sejam obtidas ajustando-se um ângulo no qual a sutura entra no tecido que circunda a abertura a ser fechada. alguns dos recursos de fechamento de ferimentos são fornecidos para incluir aberturas (140, 160) formadas no invólucro (108) e na cânula (118) do dispositivo de acesso cirúrgico, múltiplas aberturas formadas em um ou ambos dentro o invólucro e a cânula, locais das aberturas que são ajustáveis ou de outro modo móveis e várias vedações flexíveis. outros recursos, bem como métodos para fechar uma abertura através da qual o dispositivo de acesso cirúrgico foi disposto, também são fornecidos.
