Abstract

trata-se de um método para formar um corpo do tipo envoltório (100) de material de polímero termoplástico compósito autorreforçado a partir de um elemento semelhante a placa (10, 60), com uma região central (11) e uma região periférica (12) que circunda a dita região central (11), que compreende: fornecer uma prensa (1) que inclui uma primeira e segunda porções de matriz (3, 4) que podem ser movidas entre uma configuração de formação, em que as mesmas são pressionadas uma contra a outra, e uma configuração de liberação (y), em que as mesmas são separadas; pelo menos uma dentre a primeira e/ou a segunda porções de matriz (3, 4) é dotada de nervuras (5) em uma face operacional (3a, 4a) da mesma destinada a estar em contiguidade com o elemento semelhante a placa (10); dispor o elemento semelhante a placa (10) na prensa de modo que a região central (11) esteja em contiguidade com a face operacional (4a) da segunda porção de matriz (4), reter o elemento semelhante a placa (10) na região periférica (12), mover a primeira (3) e/ou a segunda porções de matriz (4) em direção à configuração de formação até que a primeira porção de matriz (3) esteja em contiguidade com o elemento semelhante a placa (10) que continua a reter o elemento semelhante a placa (10) na região periférica (12), uma etapa de formação na qual a primeira (3) e a segunda porções de matriz (4) são mantidas na configuração de formação por um período de tempo predeterminado, e o elemento semelhante a placa (10) é mantido entre a primeira (3) e a segunda porções de matriz (4) em uma temperatura de formação do material de modo a gerar a fusão pelo menos parcial de uma matriz do material sem causar substancialmente a formação das fibras de modo a formar, por meio das nervuras (5), uma pluralidade de reentrâncias (20) que definem na região central (11) uma pluralidade de painéis laterais (15) conectadas mutuamente a um painel central (14) por meio de pelo menos uma reentrância correspondente (20a), mover a primeira (3) e/ou a segunda porções de matriz (4) na configuração de liberação (y), e extrair o elemento semelhante a placa (10) e, em seguida, dobrar os painéis laterais (15) com relação ao painel central (14) nas reentrâncias (20a, 20b) de modo a formar o corpo do tipo envoltório (100).
