Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a uma composição que compreende triglicerídeos de cadeia média (tcms), sendo que a composição compreende (i) um tcm que compreende três porções de ácidos graxos, cada uma com 8 átomos de carbono (tcm-c8) e (ii) um tcm que compreende três porções de ácidos graxos, cada uma com 10 átomos de carbono (tcm-c10); em que a razão entre tcm-c8 e tcm-c10 é de 10:90 a 90:10 (mol/mol), e em que a quantidade combinada de tcm-c8 e tcm-c10 constitui ao menos 50 % em mol dos tcms na composição.
