Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de frenagem que inclui um primeiro e um segundo meios acionadores de frenagem (10) associados às rodas de um respectivo eixo (a1, a2) ou um respectivo bogie (b1, b2) de um veículo ferroviário (rv) e ao qual estão conectados um primeiro conjunto de controle eletropneumático e um segundo conjunto de controle eletropneumático (1, 2) respectivamente, cada um compreendendo uma válvula solenoide de carregamento (11) e uma válvula solenoide de descarregamento (12) adaptadas para provocar um aumento e uma redução, respectivamente, de uma pressão pneumática fornecida aos acionadores de frenagem correspondentes (10) e uma unidade de controle (13) disposta para controlar os conjuntos de controle eletropneumáticos (1, 2) em função de uma pressão de frenagem alvo (pt), de modo que os conjuntos (1, 2) provoquem a aplicação das respectivas pressões (p1, p2) aos acionadores de frenagem correspondentes (10). a unidade de controle (13) está disposta para controlar os conjuntos de controle eletropneumáticos (1, 2) de modo que os respectivos valores de pressão de frenagem (p1, p2) sejam aplicados aos acionadores de frenagem (10), a soma dessas pressões (p) sendo substancialmente igual ao valor da pressão alvo (pt), e de modo que os conjuntos eletropneumáticos (1, 2) são controlados de forma alternativa, pelo menos por um intervalo de tempo predeterminado, de modo a provocar, nos instantes subsequentes de tempo separados por um intervalo predeterminado (t), alternativamente uma variação do valor de pressão (p1) aplicada ao primeiro meio acionador de frenagem e o valor (p2) da pressão aplicada ao segundo meio acionador de frenagem (10).
