Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se ao sistema, de acordo com a invenção, compreende: uma peça de mão (2), a qual um instrumento endodôntico (4) pode ser conectado, que é pretendido para ser inserido em um canal radicular, uma unidade de medição (9) para medição de uma grandeza relacionada à posição do instrumento endodôntico (4) no canal radicular; e uma unidade de computação e de exibição (5) para exibição de um gráfico que representa a evolução da grandeza medida pela unidade de medição (9) durante tratamento endodôntico com o instrumento endodôntico (4). o método, de acordo com a invenção, compreende as seguintes etapas: exibir, por meio de uma unidade de computação e de exibição (5), um gráfico indicativo da mudança em um parâmetro medido durante o curso de um tratamento do canal radicular realizado pelo dentista, o parâmetro estando associado com a posição de um instrumento endodôntico no canal radicular, e tornar disponível um gráfico de referência indicativo de uma técnica de tratamento endodôntico pré-determinada de modo a permitir uma comparação entre o gráfico indicativo da mudança medida no parâmetro e o gráfico de referência.
