trata-se de um componente catalisador para a polimerização de olefinas que compreendem mg. ti e um doador de elétrons pertencem a derivados de mercaptoéster de fórmula específica (i) (i) em que z é selecionado a partir de c, si, o, n, s ou p, desde que os átomos o, s, p e n não sejam diretamente ligados ao grupo carboxílico ou ao átomo de enxofre de fórmula (i), os grupos r2, iguais ou diferentes entre si, são hidrogênio ou radicais hidrocarboneto c1-c20 que contêm opcionalmente um heteroátomo selecionado a partir de halogênio, p, s, n, o e si, que podem ser fundidos para formar um ou mais ciclos, m é um número que satisfaz as valências de z e n é um número inteiro na faixa de 1 a 10, x é o ou s, y é ?or3, ?nr4r5) ou grupos r6 nos quais r1 e r3 são selecionados a partir de grupos hidrocarboneto c1-c15 que contêm opcionalmente um heteroátomo selecionado a partir de halogênio, p, s, n, o e si, grupos r4 a r5, independentemente, são hidrogênio ou grupos r1, e grupos r6 têm o mesmo significado que os grupos r1.
