Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um método de aplicação de uma substância não genética para realizar reforma direcionada de sítio para um genoma de planta. o método compreende as seguintes etapas: introduzir uma substância não genética em uma célula ou um tecido ou uma parte da planta de uma planta alvo; a sustância não genética sendo uma nuclease específica para o segmento alvo ou um mrna expressando a nuclease, a nuclease sendo uma talen nuclease, uma nucleasse de dedo de zinco (zfn), uma nuclease de repetições palindrômicas curtas agrupadas e regularmente interespaçadas (crispr/cas9), ou todas as nucleases capazes de realizar edição de genoma. a nuclease atua para cortar o segmento alvo, e então, a reforma direcionada de sítio do segmento alvo é completada através de reparo de dna da planta.
