Abstract
a presente invenção trata de um método de preparação de copolímero zwitteriônico, que compreende as etapas de: (a) fornecimento de solução de pelo menos um monômero zwitteriônico polimerizável etilenicamente insaturado dissolvido em solvente; (b) combinação da mencionada solução de monômero zwitteriônico com pelo menos um comonômero que é selecionado a partir de monômeros etilenicamente insaturados catiônicos, aniônicos e não iônicos; (c) polimerização do monômero zwitteriônico e do mencionado pelo menos um comonômero na presença do mencionado solvente para formar uma solução ou dispersão de copolímero; e (d) substituição de pelo menos parte do mencionado solvente por um solvente adicional no qual o mencionado copolímero exibe solubilidade suficiente para formar uma solução do mencionado copolímero naquele solvente adicional. a etapa (b) e a etapa (c) deste método podem ser realizadas simultânea ou sequencialmente.
