Abstract
para tratar os cames de uma árvore de cames para veículo de combustão interna, de modo a reduzir o coeficiente de fricção com relação a uma peça antagonista em uma zona munida com um revestimento duro à base de carbono amorfo do tipo diamond like carbon ou dlc, dispõe-se os cames sobre um suporte, leva-se o suporte e os cames para um recinto que se coloca sob vácuo de modo a assegurar uma limpeza destes cames, coloca-se este suporte em movimento relativo ao longo de uma trajetória de desfile relativa a uma fonte de revestimento, e retira-se estes cames do suporte antes de montar os mesmos no seio de uma árvore de cames; dispõe-se os cames sobre o suporte em uma configuração fixa que, junto com a trajetória, é definida de tal modo que estes cames são levados sucessivamente ao lado oposto da fonte com orientações e em distâncias sensivelmente idênticas relativo a esta fonte, de modo a depositar um revestimento duro à base de carbono amorfo, de tipo diamond like carbon ou dlc, seletivamente sobre a fração da seção dos cames que é orientada em direção à fonte.
