Abstract

trata-se de material auxiliar e métodos de uso de material auxiliar para reforçar o tecido na proximidade de uma linha de grampos. em geral, o material auxiliar pode ser usado para manter uma vedação no tecido, tal como tecido do pulmão, e evitar que o tecido grampeado rasgue. este material auxiliar pode ser acoplado a uma garra de um grampeador cirúrgico e pode ser implantado no tecido juntamente com os grampos. em algumas modalidades, o material auxiliar pode compreender um material externo que abrange um material dilatável hidrofílico interno. o material externo pode ser seletivamente dissolúvel e/ou absorvível. quando o material externo é perfurado por grampos ou penetrado de outra forma, a umidade passa para o material interno que, então dilata e expande para transitar para um formato predeterminado e para vedar o tecido e evitar a formação de vazamentos no tecido. porções do material interno ao redor da linha de grampos podem transitar para um grande raio.
