Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um sistema para monitoramento de desperdício de alimentos. o sistema inclui um mecanismo de pesagem configurado para pesar um receptáculo de desperdícios, em que o receptáculo de desperdícios é configurado para receber desperdícios alimentares provenientes de uma pluralidade de eventos de descarte consecutivos antes de se esvaziar, um processador configurado para medir a diferença de peso do receptáculo de desperdícios entre cada evento de descarte e calcular o peso de um evento de descarte com base na diferença e uma interface de usuário configurada para receber pelo menos uma indicação categorizando o desperdício alimentar em um evento de descarte realizado por um usuário. é também descrito um método para monitoramento de desperdício de alimentos.
