Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um método para desidratar uma suspensão mineral aquosa compreendendo introduzir na suspensão um sistema de floculação compreendendo um copolímero de poli(óxido de etileno), em particular um copolímero de óxido de etileno e um ou mais monômeros hidrofóbicos funcionalizados de éter de glicidil ou epóxi. os referidos copolímeros de poli (óxido de etileno) são úteis para o tratamento das suspensões de material particulado, especialmente suspensões minerais de resíduos. a invenção é particularmente adequada para o tratamento de rejeitos e outros materiais de resíduo resultantes do processamento de minerais, em particular, processamento de rejeitos de areias betuminosas.
