Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso de solidificación del látex de caucho natural mediante polímeros policuaternarios. El proceso de la presente invención tiene la ventaja de no requerir la adición de ácidos y/o sales, con un ahorro evidente en términos de costo para los reactivos. Más aún, de tal manera no se requiere ni la etapa de neutralización del caucho ni el tratamiento del agua de procesamiento antes de desecharse. El proceso de la presente invención es adecuado tanto para la modalidad continua como por lotes, con ventajas evidentes en cuanto a su aplicación industrial.
