Abstract

a presente invenção diz respeito a uma composição de poliéster adequada para empacotamento de alimentos e bebidas, sendo a referida composição de poliéster obtida por combinação de: (a) 90-97 % por peso de um poliéster termoplástico selecionado de tereftalato de polietileno, naftaleno de polietileno, e suas misturas, (b) 2-6 % por peso de mxd6, (c) 1-5000 ppm de um sal de cobalto, (d) 0,1-1000 ppm etileno glicol (eg), e (e) 0,1-1000 ppm de dianidrido piromelítico (pmda).
