método para produzir plantas transgênicas, molécula de ácido nucleico, construção de ácido nucleico, vetor, polipeptídeo hppd, núcleos de célula vegetal, células vegetal, tecidos vegetal, materiais de propagação, pólen, prole, material colhido ou planta, semente ou parte da planta, planta transgênica, método para controlar vegetação indesejada, uso do ácido nucleico , método para cultivar planta, combinação útil para controlar ervas, processo para preparar uma combinação útil para o controle de ervas e uso de uma combinação útil para controlar ervas a presente invenção refere-se a um método de produção de plantas transgênicas com maior resistência ou tolerância a herbicidas em comparação com uma planta do tipo selvagem não transformada correspondente, que compreende a transformação de célula vegetal, núcleo de célula vegetal ou tecido vegetal com uma molécula de ácido nucleico que codifica um polipeptídeo hppd, bem como com o ácido nucleico e plantas com maior resistência ou tolerância a herbicidas inibidores de hppd que compreendem o ácido nucleico de acordo com a presente invenção.
