resumo patente de invenção: "aparelho para o tratamento térmico de uma superfície interna de um elemento tubular ou outra estrutura encerrada". a presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho de tratamento com calor para tratar com calor uma superfície interna de uma cavidade de extensão longitudinal de uma estrutura alvo que possui um cabeçote de processamento compreendendo um membro de suporte central de extensão longitudinal, e tampas de extremidade distal e proximal se projetando lateralmente a partir do membro de suporte central. cada tampa de extremidade possui uma pluralidade de aberturas configuradas para receber, respectivamente, as extremidades distal e proximal das lâmpadas de arco de plasma alongadas, e posicionar as lâmpadas de arco de plasma para estender longitudinalmente ao longo de, e lateralmente em torno do membro de suporte central de modo que a radiação emitida coletivamente pelas lâmpadas de arco de plasma seja direcionada geralmente radialmente para fora a partir do cabeçote de processamento. o cabeçote de processamento também compreende um percurso de refrigerante possuindo zonas de permuta de calor em comunicação térmica com as lâmpadas de arco de plasma, e condutos de suprimento e retorno de refrigerante em comunicação por fluido com as zonas de permuta de calor.
