Abstract
resumo processo para produzir furfural, 5- hidroximetilfurfural, e/ou ácido levulínico a partir da biomassa celulósica em algumas variações, a invenção provê um processo para produção de furfural, 5- hidroximetilfurfural, e/ou ácido levulínico de biomassa celulósica, compreendendo: fracionamento da matéria-prima na presença de um solvente para lignina, dióxido de enxofre, e água, para produzir um licor contendo hemicelulose, sólidos ricos em celulose, e lignina; hidrolisação da hemicelulose contida no licor, para produzir monômeros hemicelulósicos; desidratação da hemicelulose para converter pelo menos uma porção de hemiceluloses c5 em furfural e para converter pelo menos uma porção de hemiceluloses c6 em 5-hidroximetilfurfural; conversão de pelo menos algum de 5-hidroximetilfurfural em ácido levulínico e ácido fórmico; e recuperação de pelo menos um de furfural, de 5-hidroximetilfurfural, ou de ácido levulínico. outras realizações provêem um processo para desidratação de hemicelulose para converter hemiceluloses oligoméricas c5 em furfural e para converter hemiceluloses oligoméricas c6 em 5-hidroximetilfurfural. o furfural pode ser convertido em ácido succínico, ou em ácido levulínico, por exemplo. 1/1
