Abstract

TAMPÃO DE PURGA DE GÁS, E, VASO METALÚRGICO. A presente invenção refere-se a um tampão de purga de gás (1) para soprar gás em um vaso metalúrgico compreendendo: 2. (a) um corpo alongado (2) feito de um primeiro material refratário e estendendo-se de um a primeira extremidade, de entrada, (2a) até uma segunda extremidade, de saída, (2b) por uma distância, H, medida ao longo de um eixo geométrico longitudinal central (X1) compreendendo, 3. (b) pelo menos um trajeto de fluxo de gás (3) conectando fluidicamente uma entrada de gás (3a) localizada na dita primeira extremidade de entrada do dito corpo alongado em uma saída de gás (3b) localizada na segunda extremidade, de saída, oposta; 4. (c) um indicador de desgaste visual final (5) na forma de um núcleo alongado estendendo-se da primeira extremidade de entrada (2a) até um primeira distância, h1, medida ao longo do eixo geométrico longitudinal central (X1), que é menor que o comprimento, H, do corpo alongado, h1 (menor) H, o dito indicador visual final sendo feito de um segundo material refratário de aparÍncia visual diferente do primeiro material refratário pelo menos a uma temperatura compreendida entre 800 e 1.500ºC, em que compreende adicionalmente um indicador de desgaste visual intermediário (4), parcialmente embutido no indicador de desgaste visual final (5) e estendendo-se de um a distáncia inicial, h0, até uma distância final, h2, da primeira extremidade, de entrada, (2a), em que h0 (menor) h1 (menor) h2 (menor) H, e em que o indicador de desgaste visual intermediário (4) é feito de um terceiro material, permitindo produzir uma aparência visual diferente daquela do primeiro e segundo materiais refratários pelo menos a uma temperatura compreendida entre 800 e 1.500ºC.
