Abstract

resumo “biocontrole aperfeiçoado através do uso de misturas de estabilizador de cloro” uma composição e métodos de seu uso, a composição compreendendo: uma fonte de halogênio, ureia e um estabilizador de halogênio adicional excluindo ureia, opcionalmente um álcali em uma concentração suficiente para fornecer à referida composição um ph maior do que 10; e opcionalmente excluindo um composto de bromo estabilizado da referida composição, é revelada. adicionalmente, um método para reduzir atividade biológica em um fluxo de processo é revelado. o método compreende: fornecer uma composição a um fluxo de processo, em que a referida composição contém: um halogênio, ureia e um estabilizador de halogênio adicional excluindo ureia, opcionalmente um álcali em uma concentração suficiente para fornecer à referida composição um ph maior do que 10; e opcionalmente excluindo um composto de bromo estabilizado da referida composição. a invenção também é dirigida a composições e métodos de seu uso como agentes biocidas eficazes para fluxos de água. a composição compreende uma fonte de halogênio, estabilizadores de halogênio contendo uma espécie carregando enxofre e sais de amônio/ureia, e um álcali. a espécie que contém enxofre inclui ácido sulfâmico ou seu equivalente de sal. a razão entre mistura de nitrogênio de espécie contendo enxofre e sais de amônio ou ureia pode ser otimizada em qualquer taxa. por ter razão de mistura otimizada de halogênio para estabilizador e aquela de sais de amônio para acido sulfâmico ou sulfamato, um efeito sinérgico ocorre que tanto aumenta a eficácia da composição como um biocida como evita impactos adversos sobre outros produtos químicos que estão presentes no fluxo de água (tal como aditivos de papel em polpa e fluxos de água de fabricação de papel). a composição é fácil de formar e fácil de introduzir em um fluxo de água de interesse. sua introdução pode ser tão simples quanto misturar dois recipientes de reagente antes da introdução no fluxo de processo de água.abstract “biocontrol improved through the use of chlorine stabilizer mixtures” a composition and methods of its use, the composition comprising: a source of halogen, urea and an additional halogen stabilizer excluding urea, optionally an alkali in a concentration sufficient to provide said composition a pH greater than 10; and optionally excluding a stabilized bromine compound from said composition, is disclosed. additionally, a method for reducing biological activity in a process stream is disclosed. the method comprises: supplying a composition to a process stream, wherein said composition contains: a halogen, urea and an additional halogen stabilizer excluding urea, optionally an alkali in a concentration sufficient to provide said composition with a pH greater than 10; and optionally excluding a stabilized bromine compound from said composition. the invention is also directed to compositions and methods of their use as effective biocidal agents for water streams. the composition comprises a halogen source, halogen stabilizers containing a sulfur-bearing species and ammonium/urea salts, and an alkali. the sulfur-containing species includes sulfamic acid or its salt equivalent. the ratio of nitrogen mixture of sulfur-containing species and ammonium or urea salts can be optimized at any rate. Because it has an optimized blend ratio of halogen to stabilizer and that of ammonium salts to sulfamic acid or sulfamate, a synergistic effect occurs that both increases the effectiveness of the composition as a biocide and prevents adverse impacts on other chemicals that are present in the stream. water (such as paper pulp additives and papermaking water streams). the composition is easy to form and easy to introduce into a stream of water of interest. their introduction can be as simple as mixing two reagent containers prior to introduction into the process stream of water.
