Abstract
resumo patente de invenção: "processo e dispositivo para a transmis-são serial de dados com tamanho flexível de mensagens e comprimento variável de bits". a presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a transmis-são serial de dados em um sistema de barramento com pelo menos dois assinantes do barramento que trocam mensagens através do barramento, sendo que as mensagens enviadas apresentam uma construção lógica de acordo com a can padrão iso 11898-1, sendo que a construção lógica con-tém um start-of-frame-bit, um arbitration field , um control field, um data field, um crc field, um acknowledge field e uma seqüência end-of-frame, sendo que o control field compreende um data length code que contém uma informação sobre o comprimento do data field. o processo é caracterizado pelo fato de que na presença de uma primeira identificação (edl) o control field das mensagens, divergindo da can padrão iso 11898-1, abrange mais do que seis bits, sendo que na presença da primeira identificação (edl) o control field da mensagem é ampliado por pelo menos mais um bit (esi), e sendo que por meio do bit adicional (esi) ou de um dos demais bits uma informação sobre o estado error passive do assinante do barramento é integrada em mensagens enviadas.
