Abstract

ponto de acesso configurado para gerenciamento de grupos de estações e método para gerenciamento de grupos de estações. a presente invenção refere-se a um ponto de acesso configurado para gerenciamento de grupos de estações e um método de gerenciamento de grupos de estações em uma rede sem fio. em algumas modalidades, o ponto de acesso pode transmitir uma mensagem de alocação de grupo para estações selecionadas e estabelecer um grupo de gerenciamento de estações que inclui estações a partir das quais são recebidos quadros de resposta. o ponto de acesso também pode transmitir transmissões dl mu-mimo para as estações do grupo de gerenciamento de estações utilizando uma técnica mu-mimo. quando a deleção explícita de grupos é empregada, o ponto de acesso pode deletar explicitamente algumas estações do grupo de gerenciamento de estações transmitindo uma mensagem de deleção de grupo às estações do grupo. quando a deleção implícita de grupos é empregada, o ponto de acesso pode deletar implicitamente algumas estações do grupo de gerenciamento de estações após um período de tempo predeterminado, indicado na mensagem de alocação de grupo, abstendo-se de transmitir transmissões dl mu-mimo ou mensagens de atualização de grupo às estações do grupo.
