método e aparelho para etiquetar fardos e sistema para identificar e rastrear fardos. trata-se de um método e um aparelho para inserir uma etiqueta (50) em um fardo de material agrícola (60). a etiqueta (50) é inserida no material do fardo, durante sua produção, de modo que a etiqueta (50) esteja dentro do material de fardo, mas dentro da distância de leitura de uma superfície externa do fardo final (26). em fardos quadrados, a etiqueta é colocada ou na primeira (20) ou na última (24) fatia do fardo (26). em fardos redondos, a etiqueta é colocada na camada circunferencial externa do fardo à medida que ele é formado. a etiqueta (50) pode ser alimentada por gravidade ou forçadamente no fluxo de material de colheita (60) à medida que ele passa do coletor do aparelho de enfardamento para a câmara de enfardamento (19). um sistema para identificar e rastrear um fardo individual é também descrito.
