processo para a produção de um êmbolo para um motor de combustão interna, bem como êmbolo que pode ser produzido por meio desse processo. a presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de um êmbolo (10) a partir de uma parte superior de êmbolo (11, 111, 211) e de uma parte inferior de êmbolo (15). nesse processo, é disponibilizado um produto semimanufaturado (22) em forma de faixa ou de chapa de um material metálico, a partir do qual é estampada uma parte superior de êmbolo anelar (11, 111, 211) ou uma peça bruta anelar (25) que recebe acabamento final para formar uma parte superior de êmbolo (11, 111, 211), sendo que a parte superior de êmbolo (11, 111, 211) é conectada com uma parte inferior de êmbolo (15) para formar um êmbolo (10).
