Abstract
dispositivo de exibição de cristal líquido e método de fabricação para o mesmo. a presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de exibição de cristal líquido (100) de acordo com a presente invenção inclui uma camada de cristal líquido do tipo de alinhamento vertical (3). e um par de películas de alinhamento ótico (12,22). uma pluralidade de elementos de imagem (r,g,b,y) incluem cada um quatro domínios de cristal líquido (d1 a d4) em que as direções de inclinação das moléculas de cristal líquido quando uma tensão é aplicada são diferentes. os quatro domínios de cristal líquido são localizados em uma matriz de 2 linhas x 2 colunas. o par de películas de alinhamento ótico tem uma força de regulação de alinhamento que faz com que um padrão de alinhamento idêntico apareça em repetição na camada de cristal líquido ao longo de uma primeira direção que é paralela a uma direção de linha e direção de coluna, com 2n pixels (n é um inteiro de 1 ou maior) sendo uma unidade mínima. nos 2n pixels que formam a unidade repetição de padrão de alinhamento, existem primeiros elementos de imagem e segundos elementos de imagem em um estado misturado, cada um dos primeiros elementos de imagem inclui os quatro domínios de cristal líquido localizados em uma primeira ordem, e cada um dos segundos elementos de imagem inclui os quatro domínios de cristal líquido localizados em uma primeira ordem, e cada um dos segundos elementos de imagem inclui os quatro domímios de cristal líquido localizados em uma segunda ordem que é diferente da primeira odem. de acordo com a presente invenção, quando o modo 4d-rtn é apontado para um dispositivo de exibição de cristal líquido em que um pixel inclui um elemento de imagem que tem um tamanho diferente daquele de outro elemento de imagem, aumentos de custo e tempo que são requeridos para processamento de alinhamento ótico podem ser suprimidos.
