Abstract

DISPOSITIVO E MÉTODO PARA INTERROMPER A CORRENTE DE UMA LINHA DE DISTRIBUIÇÃO OU TRANSMISSÃO DE ENERGIA E ARRANJO DE LIMITAÇÃO DE CORRENTE. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo (13) para interromper uma corrente elétrica que passa através de uma linha de distribuição ou transmissão de energia (14) que compreende uma ligação em paralelo de um disjuntor principal (8) e uma resistência não linear (11), onde o disjuntor principal (8) compreende, pelo menos, uma chave semicondutora de potência de uma primeira direção de corrente. O dispositivo (13) compreende ainda uma ligação em série de uma chave de alta velocidade (10) que compreende, pelo menos, uma chave mecânica e um disjuntor de auxiliar (9), o disjuntor auxiliar tendo uma menor sobre resistência do que o disjuntor principal (8) e compreendendo, pelo menos, uma chave semicondutora de potência da primeira direção de corrente. A conexão em série está ligada em paralelo com a ligação em paralelo. Em um método para usar o dispositivo (13) primeiro o disjuntor auxiliar (9) é aberto, desse modo conectando a corrente ao disjuntor principal (8), depois a chave de alta velocidade (10) é aberto e depois o disjuntor principal (8) é aberto conectando, assim, a corrente para a resistência não linear (11). O dispositivo (13) pode ainda ser usado em um arranjo de limitação de corrente.
