Abstract

Trata-se de um método para operar uma colheitadeira que pode incluir inicialmente operar a colheitadeira em um modo de colheita de descarga de modo que as culturas colhidas sejam transportadas para uma extremidade distal de um elevador da colheitadeira e subsequentemente descarregadas a partir da colheitadeira através de uma abertura de descarga definida por um distribuidor de armazenamento situado na extremidade distal do elevador. O método também inclui reduzir uma velocidade de operação do elevador e bloquear a abertura de descarga definida pelo distribuidor de armazenamento mediante o recebimento de uma entrada de operador associada à operação da colheitadeira em um modo de colheita de armazenamento. De modo adicional, o método inclui ajustar ativamente a velocidade de operação do elevador com base em um parâmetro de fluxo de cultura da colheitadeira à medida que as culturas colhidas expelidas a partir da extremidade distal do elevador estão sendo armazenadas dentro de um volume de armazenamento do distribuidor de armazenamento.
