Abstract
anel de pistão e motor a combustão interna. a invenção se refere, de maneira geral, a um componente de um motor de combustão interna e, mais especificamente, a invenção está relacionada a um anel de pistão de um motor a combustão interna. a invenção também se refere a um motor a combustão interna que comporta tal anel. de acordo com uma realização da invenção, o anel de pistão compreende entre 8 e 15% em peso de cromo, além de outros elementos e inevitáveis impurezas, e tendo uma dureza compreendida entre 350 e 420 hv, sendo que o dito anel compreende uma camada superficial nitretada com uma profundidade menor ou igual a 60 um e tendo uma dureza medida na superfície maior que 800 hv, em que as partículas de nitreto da camada nitretada possuem um tamanho máximo de 5 pm e estão distribuídas entre 4 e 8% da área da camada nitretada, sendo que a camada branca está ausente na camada nitretada.
