Abstract

"ADAPTADOR". A invenção se refere a um adaptador (32) para um tanque de combustível de um veículo (4), em que o adaptador (32) ajusta uma braçadeira (6, 8) designada a acomodar um tanque de combustível (9) o um primeiro formato em seção transversal, por exemplo, uma seção transversal substancialmente retangular, transversal à direção longitudinal do tanque de combustível (9) para acomodar um tanque de combustível (10) com um segundo formato em seção transversal, diferente do primeiro formato em seção transversal, por exemplo, de formato em seção transversal substancialmente circular, transversal à direção longitudinal do tanque de combustível (10), pelo fato de uma lateral do adaptador (32) estar conectada à braçadeira (6, 8) e sua outra lateral ser configurada de acordo com o tanque de combustível (10) com o segundo formato em seção transversal, transversal à direção longitudinal do tanque de combustível (10) . Isso resulta na vantagem de não se ter que remover braçadeiras previamente adaptadas de um determinado tipo e então adaptar braçadeiras de outro tipo e não se ter que projetar, fabricar e manter estoques de vário tipos diferentes, com isso simplificando a montagem pelo fato de não haver necessidade de seleção entre diferentes tipos de braçadeiras, enquanto ao mesmo tempo, se torna possível manter baixo tanto o tempo de adaptação quanto os custos da braçadeira.
